Tribute Vespa – scooter with a mahogany finish by Digital Veneer

Woodscoot

Not just your average Vespa scooter, the Tribute Vespa adds a high-end polished wood finish.

According to makers, Digital Veneer, each brand new Vespa is transformed by craftsmen into 'an authentic and unique work of art', which includes everything from a mahogany mirror finish to a hand stitched leather seat, taking style prompts from 'legendary speedboats' and 'evoking the glamour and La Dolce Vita of the original'.

Each one of the Vespas carries a numbered limited edition silver plaque. Each one takes three weeks to make and would need to be shipped from New Zealand. Price? A hefty £8,995 to an even heftier £12,995, depending on which model of Vespa you opt for. More details and images on the website.

eBay watch: 1950s NSU Quickly 49cc motorised bicycle

Moto

Last week we featured a motorised bike from Raleigh, which proved really popular. Well, now we've found another – and we think this 1950s NSU Quickly motorised bicycle is even better.

A stunning vintage design, made in Germany back in 1958 and packed full of the retro curves that are so common in retro bicycle designs in the modern era.

According to the seller, it's a 'good runner', has a 49cc engine, two speeds and 'everything's original'. The only thing needed is a new speedo cable. Plenty of interest, but even allowing for that, the price is only at £215.55. See the eBay page for lots more images.

eBay watch: 1960s Raleigh RM6 motorised bicycle

Raleigh

If you fancy riding to work, but don't fancy the legwork, this 1960s Raleigh RM6 motorised bicycle could be for you.

Looking not unlike the many retro-styled bicycles we've featured on here in the past, the RM6 dates back to 1966 and according to the seller, is is 'exceptional condition for the year'. Beneath that vintage exterior lurks a 50cc engine, which should be nippy enough for town and city commuting, with a horn, lights and a newly-added rear carrier (not pictured) helping you along.

It's taxed and MOT'd, with the price right now at £50 should you fancy it for your commute.

eBay watch: Original low mileage 1980 Morris Marina car

Marina

A relic from a bygone era, this 1980 Morris Marina has had just one lady owner, with that owner driving it just 32,000 miles in 30 years. That's likely to be correct too, as the paperwork has 23 service stamps in the original booklet.

According to the seller, the 'velour upholstery is in perfect order' as are the original carpets and headlining. The car was also 'Zeibarted' from new, with the rust protector doing its job for 30 years. The odd touch up of paint, but nothing serious to look out for. The seller is even willing to deliver it…for a price.

It must be a collector's car of sorts because I've seen a procession of Marinas from a local club driving about my particular area. If you want to join your local club, bidding starts at just £50.

eBay watch: Fully restored Austin Mini Designer Mary Quant Edition

Quant1

Yes, I know we featured one of these a short while back, but that was a model in need of full restoration. This Austin Mini Designer Mary Quant Edition has been full restored and is ready to go.

For the uninitiated, around 2,000 of these Mary Quant-designed Minis were made, a good number no doubt rusting away since the 1980s, so it's very much a case of future collectible we reckon. This one looks a real gem too.
