Bullit and Dirty Harry tote bags

Tokyo_bags

Bye Bye Tokyo has some interesting t-shirt designs, as well as some smart tote bags, including these Bullit and Dirty Harry tote bags.

Yes, I said ‘Bullit’ – the design might be good, but the spelling of the movie title seems to be lacking a second ‘t’. Still, no-one but the biggest of film buffs will notice. The Clint bag is a white design on black, the Steve McQueen bag is black on white, with both bags sized at 40 x 38cm (excluding the handle).

And both are on sale, priced at 13.90 Euros, which is around £9.50.

Adidas Superstar Force – Star Wars-inspired trainers

Starwars_trainers

If you are into your Star Wars and indeed into your trainers, you might want to seek out a pair of the Adidas Superstar Force trainers.

They’re available for a limited time from September and available in two looks – the black, which are Darth Vader-influenced and the lighter shade, which is inspired by Yoda. And check out the logos on the shoes – which use the Star Wars font.

In the US, they will retail for $150, which is around £75. I’ve not yet found a UK retailer.

Dr Who Cyberman shower radio

Cybermanshower I always feel sorry for the Cybermen, always the second class citizens compared to the Daleks in the Dr Who baddie world. But if you want to show them your support, you can hang this Dr Who Cyberman shower radio in your bathroom.

This battery-operated radio has a cord to hang on the wall or door, is presumably (but not definitely) waterproof and plays both AM and FM radio. In fact, if you playback FM, you get a spooky blue glow for the Cyberman’s mouth too.

Sized at 15cm x 13cm, it retails for £19.95.

Nikko R2-D2 projector with Millenium Falcon remote

Nikko_r2d2

Remember that bit in Star Wars where R2-D2 fires up a movie of Prince Leia in distress? Well, fiction has just become fact.

Yes, over in Japan, Nikko has launched the R2-D2 DVD player and Video Projector. And it’s just how it sounds. The video kit has been installed into a replica of R2-D2 and even better, can be controlled by a remote shaped like the Millenium Falcon. Stick on your discs and view on a large screen. There’s even an iPod dock and memory card reader for watching clips from smaller devices.

Weighing in at 8kg, you can pick one up in Japan for the equivalent of £1575. No news of a UK launch, but trust me, you’ll hear about it if it does make it over.
