Adidas Baby Beckenbauer – 1970s tracktop for your kids

Beck

Want to turn your little one into a mini homeboy? You simply need to invest in the Adidas Baby Beckenbauer

Yes, this is a one-to-one replica of the classic 70s tracksuit, inspired, as the name suggests, by footballing legend Franz Beckenbauer. So all the detailing, logos and pockets of the original, in a white and red colourway.

It's designed for very small children, so only 3 months or 9 months I'm afraid. If you have a child of that age, the Beckenbauer is yours for £35.

Bobo Kids – midcentury-inspired furniture for children

Bobo_1

When it comes to design, you can never start them too young. And with Bobo Kids around, you can give your offspring some retro style from more or less day one.

It offers vintage-style furniture inspired by the 40s and 50s, including a cot on wheels, changing table, wardrobes, dressers, bookcases, side tables, even a bed, as you can see above. There's also an image of one of the desks and a side table over the page.

Every item is hand-painted and is made to order, with prices obviously varying depending on your choice of item. But to give you a rough guide, the bed retails for £795, the side/night table £295 and the desk is yours for £795.

Lulabird clocks

Lula Whale_clock2

Looking for some bright, quirky and, of course, retro artwork for a kids room? Take a look at the range from Lulabird, a company created by a couple of mothers who found themselves asking the same question.

In answer, they produce plywood wall art and clocks, featuring owls and flowers and whales, all in the same idiosyncratic style as the image shown above. The numbers on the clocks are all deliberately simple to read and so should help with the tricky business of telling the time.

The pieces range in price but, to give you an idea, the whale wall clock pictured is £30.

Ferm Living retro robot duvet set

Ferm living Robot bedding junior

Ferm Living have gone crazy for robots in their new Spring range, including this duvet set. Yes, a pillow and duvet cover with a repeat pattern of colourful retro robots. Fans of the mechanical creatures might be upset to know it's only available as a single duvet, meaning this design is most probably just for the kids. However, jealousy aside, it would look great in a children's room.

The range is currently available for pre-order at Cloudberry Living for release later in the month and also includes mini robot cushions for £22 and wall stickers for £39.95. This duvet set costs £85.

Retro rocket wallsticker

Rocket sticker

Want a look for a kid's room that's out of this world? Try this retro rocket wallsticker

The design, which is made by a company called e-glue, is straight out of the golden days of space exploration. The sticker comes in several colours: you can pick from various shades of blue, grey or chocolate. It certainly isn't a decorating look for the timid as the smaller version measures a massive 50 x 110cm! The larger version is roughly double that.

A small sticker costs £95 with the large costing £145.
