Paul Smith-designed Rapha cycling top

Rapha_paulsmith
To celebrate Le Grand Départ of the Tour de France in London, Rapha has teamed up with fashion designer Sir Paul Smith to produce a commemorative Sportwool jersey in strictly limited numbers.

The limited edition Paul Smith & Rapha jersey is probably as near to fashion as the classic Rapha look gets, but it’s still very much a practical cycling top. Made of Sportwool, which is lightweight, itch-free and odour-resistant, the shir has a slim fit, classic collar, button front and various pockets.

The Rapha tricolor design also features embroidered logos, along with the route of Stage One of the Tour in embroidered onto the back. Unsurprisingly, it isn’t cheap, retailing for £175. It will be followed by a range of "classic" cycling hats from June in tweed and houdstooth, again a joint collaboration between Rapha and Paul Smith. More details when we get them.

Gama-Go Squiddles Band t-shirt

Gamago_squid
The Gama-Go website is always worth a look for t-shirts and the odd bit of interesting design – and right now, we very much like this Gama-Go Squiddles Band t-shirt.

The design obviously takes inspiration from animation of the 60s and is printed into a 100 per cent cotton t-shirt in a choice of vanilla or olive.

Not a bad price either – $28, which is around £15.

Katherine Hamnett Clean Up Or Die t-shirt

Cleanup
Remember the big slogan t-shirts? Things like "Frankie says…" and "Choose Life"? well, the majority were Katherine Hamnett creations dating back to the early 1980s – and she’s reissued a number of them, but with a slight difference.

That difference certainly isn’t the design, which still features a range of mainly political statements, including this Clean Up Or Die shirt from 1989. The difference is the t-shirt itself – slim-fitting, compared to the original rent-a-tent, made from organic cotton and ethically-made in India.

The price has changed a little too – they retail for £55 each for either mens or womens.

Psychomania movie t-shirt

Psychomania_tshirt
We love Psychomania – a very British biker movie that combines two-wheel japes with some classic 70s horror. In fact, we’re happy to tell the world with this Psychomania t-shirt.

It’s available from the British Horror website in a variety of shapes and colours, though I quite like this retro-styled top, not unlike an old football shirt. The design is the classic gang helmet, with all the gang member names around  – and of course, the movie title.

You can pick it up for £11.90

Lee’s limited edition 101 1966 denims

Lee_1966

Fancy a denim jacket and jeans with a bit of heritage? Check out these Lee 101 1966 limited edition jeans and jacket.

Apparently a replica of the jeans/jackets that The Beatles wore in a 1966 Scandinavian photo shoot, they’re limited to just 1001 pieces. But there’s more, the ones at Manchester’s Oi Polloi (and available online) are part of a separate small batch made of dry/raw denim – the way they would have been presented back in the day. But still taken out of the limited run’s count.

The slim fit 101Z jeans have 5 pockets, zip fly, two tone stitching and original badging. They’re also numbered and boxed. The 101J jacket also has the vintage details and badging – and is also numbered. Not cheap, with the jeans at £139.99 and the jacket at £159.99 – but who can put a price on exclusivity?
