Fred Perry cycling shirt

Fp_cycling
Despite looking suspiciously like Coventry City’s home kit from the late 1970s, this take on the cycling shirt from Fred Perry is still quite an eye-catching top.

This is an Italian-made 100% cotton cycling shirt, in sky blue with dark blue and white trim. There’s also a zip-up round neck collar with Fred Perry laurel wreath embroided on the chest

Available from Hip in Leeds, priced at £85.

Pacman Ghost crochet hat and scarf set

Pacman_hat_scarf
The weather’s cold – and if you’re a vintage gaming fan, there’s only one thing to buy – the Pacman Ghost crochet hat and scarf set.

All individually-made by Urban Princess and sold via Etsy, the crochet hat is one-size and the multi-coloured scarf features ghosts with moving eyes.

Not the cheapest hat and scarf set – the hat retails for $40 (around £22) and the scarf $150 (around £80), but it’s almost certain that you’ll be only one on the bus in the morning wearing one.

Onitsuka Tiger Nippon 60 trainers

Onitsuka_nippon_1

Definitely my favourite trainers of the moment are these Onitsuka Tiger Nippon 60 trainers, which, as the name suggests, date back to 1960.

Reissued  by the company for 2007, they were designed for the Japanese delegation at the Olympics in Rome for that year. They feature a contrasting white stripe on the side and front, coupled with the "sun" logo on the side.

Lightweight, available in a number of colours, they’re certainly worth a close look if you fancy something like a bowling shoe. They retail for £75.

Savile Rogue – old-style cashmere football scarf

Savile_rogue

Football scarfs used to items of purpose – big and woolly, keeping you warm on the terraces in the winter. Then clubs started to "personalise" them with team names, dropping the wool for cheaper man-made fibres.

And now we’ve gone full circle with the Savile Rogue, billed as the world’s most luxurious football scarf. The scarves are produced by one of the oldest cashmere mills in Scotland from the finest cashmere wool – and in a colour scheme of virtually all the world’s leading teams.

Featured above are two examples – Bolton Wanderers and West Ham. Each scarf comes in a presentation box and retails for £36.
