Manuel X-body Satchel from Ollie & Nic

Manuel

Classic, well made satchels never quite go out of style. A great unisex choice, this leather cross-body satchel from Ollie & Nic has all the company's usual retro flare and great craftsmanship.

The Manuel satchel is easy to wear and convenient thanks to the X-body design, and the deep chocolate leather shade gives it a great look. Despite a magnetic fastening, they've kept some of the classic features like tab fastener design, and rigid, heavy duty stitching. The girly addition of a charm can easily be removed for unisex use.

It's available from Ollie & Nic for £125.

Stripe Belted Tunic from New Look

Stripe tunic

While we're all going a bit mad for spring and summer shopping, there's still a bit of chill in the air for most of us. Perfect for those in between months is some lightweight knitwear like this Stripe Belted Tunic from New Look.

With a casual take on the nautical look, this is an easy to wear retro piece for daytime. The always classic breton stripe is combined with a boat neckline, but the nautical theme isn't overdone. Using a figure-hugging skirt to offset the more casual bodice, the belt gives a fifties style silhouette to this dress.

It's available now from New Look for just £18.

Wham Baam duffle bag

Duffle bag2

How could we resist a product with a name like the Wham Baam duffle bag? This bag from Urban Outfitters is clearly inspired by Roy Lichtenstein style Pop Art in both its choice of name and with its graphic print. However, the peach or yellow colours on offer give it an oh-so-fashionable eighties look. The wipe clean finish maintains the fantastic plastic feel.

It's quite large at 45cm wide by 30.5cm high, so it will certainly make an impression. It's currently on sale too, reduced from £48 to £34.99.

1960s Helkama Jopo bicycle is back in blue

Jopo_blue

We did feature this around 12 months back, but as it's one of favourite bikes and it's back for 2009 in a new colourway, we feel justified in mentioning once more the Helkama Jopo bicycle.

It was first introduced in its native Finland back in 1965 as a 'bike for all', returning in the modern era with a sympathetic update, but still packing the key classic features – low front frame, 24-inch wheels, single gear, luggage carrier and kickstand, plus the ability to adjust the seat and the handlebar to fit most sizes. And for the mean streets of 2009, it now has an integrated lock.

379 Euros will secure you a new Jopo in black and blue – and make you the envy of your friends.
