Gio Ponti 1930s Bilia table lamp

Bilia

A great example of modernist design, now reissued by Fontana Arte – the Gio Ponti Bilia table lamp.

Launched back in 1931, the Bilia still looks alien some 70+ years on, but it also looks every bit as stylish and contemporary as it did back in the 1930s. For your money, you get a brushed nickel-plated frame which holds a diffuser in satin blown white glass. And just to keep that minimalism, the feeding cable is transparent.

Standing at 43cm tall and available to order online, you can pick one up for £37.

We've had plenty of Adidas Superstar reissues in the past months and years, but the latest version of the Adidas Superstar Vintage is very much a back to basics, with a premium touch.

Pre-order only right now, you can get your name on the list for £85.

Yngve Ekstrom 1960s Rondino swivel chair

Rondino

Something a little different from the 1960s – the Rondino swivel chair, designed by Yngve Ekstrom.

Originally designed back in 1964 and reissued now by Swedese, the Rondino is a classic swivel chair with a foot in aluminium/chromed steel and an unusually-shaped seat covered in a choice of fabric or leather.

It's not the most obvious 60s seat on the market, but it's certainly one of the more distinctive. Yours from £722.

Fiat 500 Barbie special edition

Fiat_barbie

Barbie is 50 years old – and to celebrate, Fiat has teamed up with Mattel to produce a special Barbie edition of its Fiat 500.

Of course, the car comes in shocking pink only, complete with matching pink interior, along with pink and white seats. And for that special touch, there are even crystals on the hub caps, outer window moldings and antenna, along with a 'cover' that replicates the 1960s version of the car. Under the bonnet, it's just your average 500 we presume.

Check out the Edmunds site for more images (especially of the interior). How much? That's not clear as yet, although it might become clear after next week's official launch in Milan.

Rapha Campionissimo vintage-style cycling shirt

Campan

To celebrate 60 years since Fausto Coppi won both the Giro d’Italia and Tour de France, Rapha has produced a shirt that replicates the one worn by the legendary cyclist – the Rapha Campionissimo cycling shirt.

Ideally for cyclists, it's also a super-cool casual top, made from extra fine worsted merino yarn that's anti-bacterial, itch-free and odour-resistant – perfect for a summer's day. And with an angled collar and wooden buttons, it's also packing an authentic late 40s look.

And of course, if you're a cyclist you'll probably find use for those double pockets on the front as well as those hot weather features. And if you want to show off your cycling knowledge, a unique Il Campionissimo label is sown into the back. Not cheap as you might expect, with the top retailing for £160.

Polka Dot halter neck tops from Peacocks

Peacocks

It's been the first sunny day of the year round these parts, so it makes it an awful lot easier to start envisioning a summer wardrobe full of fab retro gear. With summery tops it makes sense not to make too big an investment, especially for those of us in the UK, since it might not get worn as often as you'd like.

These cutesey fifties style halter tops from Peacocks are an ideal addition to a summer staple wardrobe. With a curve flattering strap shape and sweetheart neckline, they're perfectly pinup. The polka dots and fresh, bright colours add some whimsy that's ideal for breaking up block colours to get a summery look.

Available in yellow, red, blue and classic black, these tops cost £7 each from Peacocks.
