All sorts of things can be bought via Amazon these days, including art it seems. Amongst the usual pop art style portraits, I found this Vintage Vinyl Canvas, which would look good hung over your record collection.

Arguably one of the finest sitcoms ever made, The Fall And Rise Of Reginald Perrin is now being given the remake treatment by the BBC.
The original, written by David Nobbs, starred Leonard Rossiter as a sales executive in the midst of a mid-life crisis and on the brink of a nervous breakdown – telling the world what he thinks before finally departing the daily grind for a new life as a new man.
According to the BBC, the new version will be written by Nobbs and Simon Nye, with Martin Clunes will take on the title role of Reggie Perrin, supported by Fay Ripley (Cold Feet), Wendy Craig (Butterflies, The Royal), Geoffrey Whitehead (Worst Week Of My Life), Neil Stuke (Game On) and Lucy Liemann (Moving Wallpaper). Six episodes are being filmed for showing later in 2009. It could be good, it could be bad – but I suspect it will not be a patch on the original.
A few months back, I bemoaned the fact that you couldn't buy arguably Joe Colombo's most famous creation – the Elda Chair – in the UK. Well, my plea seems to have been heard, with the chair now available in this country.
Which makes me very happy, although that's tempered considerably by the price. The Elda is the space age era in a seat, actually dating back to 1963, but best known for its appearances in sci-fi movies and TV shows of the early 70s – an episode of Space 1999 wasn't complete without one.
On the technical side, the swivel chair is made of reinforced ABS plastic, with an plush interior of contrasting leather. If life's been kind to you of late, you can pick one up for £3,518 – and re-live an era every time you sit in it.
