Coco quilted chain bag from Urban Outfitters

Coco bag

When the high street shops get away with blatantly ripping off design classics it causes confusion and quite the rift of opinion. However, if you're never going to afford the original, this imitation of the original Chanel 2.55 bag from Urban Outfitters isn't a bad replacement.

Originally launched in 1955, the now ubiquitous quilted Chanel bag is as popular as ever, and of course gets ever more expensive. This Coco bag is a much more purse friendly lookalike, and has all the style hallmarks of the original, down to the distinctive strap.

It's available in both colours from Urban Outfitters UK for £52.

PT Home Retro Alarm Clock

870pic_large

This Retro Alarm Clock by PT Home won’t wake you up with music or a cup of tea. It is plainly and simply an alarm clock, but sometimes that is enough.

It has an attractive cream exterior, housing an LCD display for the time. It measures 12cm x 6cm x 6cm and runs on 2 AA batteries. There isn’t much more to say about other than the price which is a suitably modest £15.

It can be bought online from Iggloo.

Adidas Vespa Blue trainers

Vespablue1

We don't know a great deal about the Adidas Vespa Blue trainers, aside from them appearing on the Colette website as part of its spring 2009 range.

Obviously a collaboration between Adidas and Vespa, the shoes (or should that be boots) have a blue suede upper with Adidas stripes and tongue logo mixing it with the Vespa logo near the heel, things finished off with a gum-like sole.

Not the result you might expect from two classic labels, but interesting nonetheless. Yours for 110 Euros. See another image over the turn.

Freeman Transport vintage bicycle t-shirts

Freeman

Freeman Transport specialises in hand-built bikes, but also does a nice sideline in t-shirts, including these Freeman Transport vintage bicycle t-shirts.

Take your pick from three designs, including the two above, all printed onto 100 per cent organic cotton shirts, with the design a shade of the t-shirt colour.

Available direct from the company, you can buy the t-shirts for $28 (around £19). Check out the site for other clothing and accessories too – and of course, the bikes.

Schuh eco-friendly Cassette bag

Schuh

Some time back, we featured a reusable bag from Schuh with an Adidas trainer design. It must have been successful as the company has launched another retro-styled design – the Schuh eco-friendly Cassette bag.

Designed to cut down on your plastic bag usage, the new Cassette design features (as you can guess) a large image of a cassette, sturdy construction and some lengthy handles so you can carry on your shoulder.

And it's cheap – just £1.99. Although you might have to hunt around for it, Schuh has informed us that the bag is not going to be sold online, but is being sold at 29 of the company's 54 stores.

Lego to launch brick-like digital camera

Lego_camera

It's aimed at kids, but a lot of us big kids will almost certainly be picking up the Lego digital camera.

The camera is part of a range of gadgets being produced by the company, which also includes video cameras, MP3 players, walkie talkies, boom boxes and radio alarms, all made of Lego bricks, but all arriving ready made.

Details about the camera are scarce, but as it's primarily aimed at kids, expect it to be tough and robust, with the option of re-building the case should there by any 'little accidents'. Initially arriving in the US, the range will sell for between $19.99 and $59.99, which seems cheap enough to me.
