Warhol Colouring Book

Warholcolouring

If there was ever an artist whose work was suited to appearing in a colouring book, it is Andy Warhol.

Sadly, the Warhol Colouring Book doesn’t feature his iconic pop art portraits, but a collection of his less famous drawings of animals and other pictures. It is a large format book with 24 pages for colouring. And dare I say it, it would make a great Christmas present for wannabe artists of all ages.

It costs £10 from the National Galleries of Scotland shop.

Adidas Beckenbauer Allround trainers reissued

Adidas_beck

Not sure what’s going on with Adidas right now, but it seems to be reissuing trainers faster than we can write about them – the latest being the Adidas Beckenbauer Allround trainers.

Back in 1982, the footie legend would have been in the twilight of his footballing career (at Hamburg, then onto a final fling at the New York Cosmos), but was still a name to stick on the side of a shoe. This particular trainer was designed for both a kickabout in the school yard or on an all-weather pitch, but still had enough about it to pair up with a pair of jeans.

The reissue offers a plush leather upper bold orange stripes and a ‘high impact’ training insole, should you want to show off your skills. Pre-order now for £55.

A pre-war classic that’s still adding some style to homes today – the Cassina Lewis coffee table by Frank Lloyd Wright.

First launched on the eve of World War II in 1939, the Lewis table is cut very much from the modernist cloth, that sharp geometric shape very indicative of the era, as well as offering two levels of storage for your living room essentials.

Take your pick from two sizes and finishes of natural cherry wood, stained walnut and stained black, with prices starting at £1,227.
