Big Time – table shaped like a 70s digital watch

Bigtime

If you’ve got the money, you can pick Big Time – a table shaped like a 1970s-style digital watch.

Designed by Lee J Rowland, the table is probably highly impractical, but looks superb with that large (working) programmable digital face, strap-like legs (made of satin-look stainless steel and chrome) and a couple of lined, slimline drawers for your bits and pieces.

Price? Well, this bespoke table will set you back £18,500 – or if you’e a hip hop star, you can pay £22,000 for a version coated with 24 carat gold.

Rolser retro shopping trolleys

Rolser

Shopping trolleys used to be predictable affairs – made of a tartan fabric and dragged around by elderly ladies. But in these eco-friendly times, shopping trolets are (dare I say it) almost socially acceptable, especially if it’s something like a Rolser retro shopping trolley.

These Spanish-made trolleys are built for the modern consumer – with hip designs like the Marilyn and Psychedelic above, each fully waterproof, with plenty of storage and able to flatten down to the size of a handbag should it be empty.

Check out the full selection at the Rolser site, with prices starting around £70.

Levi’s Vintage 1923 Mackinaw Coat

Macinaw

Another fascinating addition to the Levi’s Vintage range – this 1923 Mackinaw Coat.

Like most of the items in the range, this is a replica of a surviving original – a 1923 version of a design actually introduced by Levi’s back in 1912. For our money you get a fully-lined, thigh-length jacket with 3-button double-breasted fastening, additional belt fastening, chest pocket, flapped lower pockets and an unusual turn-up cuff.

All of that (in a dark green) will set you back £459.99.

Verner Panton 1960s FlowerPot pendant light returns with two new colours

Panton_new

We love the Verner Panton FlowerPot pendant light, a 60s classic (1968 to be precise) that’s stood the test of time and stayed in fashion for the last four decades. And it’s still here today, with two new colours added for 2008.

As you can see, they are green and blue, guaranteed to add a splash of colour to any room. Nothing else has changed – the lamps are still made from aluminium, with a clear wire cable that creates a ‘floating’ effect.

Now available online, they retail for £154.
