B&Q’s Petra retro garden furniture

Petra

It’s worth checking out B&Q right now – it has some great retro-inspired design, although (sadly) most of it isn’t available to order online. Like this Petra retro garden furniture.

If Moonbase Alpha in Space 1999 had the need for garden furniture, chances are that it would look something like that this. Rectangular in shape with rounded edges and a mesh detailing on both the table and seating.

It’s made of aluminium, so should be good for leaving out in the worst conditions – although that might not make for the most comfortable of seating. Pop into your local store, they should be in stock, with a table and two benches retailing for around £500.

Retro Font Mugs

P_oldtypemugsThere are so many retro mugs around at the moment that there is bound to be something that is your cup of tea, if you’ll excuse the pun.

Possibly the cheapest I’ve come across are these Retro Font Mugs, which are being sold by Pussy Home Boutique for just £3.99. There are four designs, each featuring ornate retro lettering. Take your pick from Mug, Drink Me, Love/Hate You or Tea.
