1930s Triangtois art deco dolls house up for auction at Boldon Auction Galleries

Deco1

Some time back, we highlighted the Lundby midcentury-style dolls houses and furniture, examples of which can often be found on eBay. But here's something that's much harder to find – a 1930s Triangtois art deco dolls house.

It's up for auction at Boldon Auction Galleries, which is in the Newcastle area. Don't worry – you can absentee bid if you want it and don't happen to be local. We suspect fans of art deco housing just might, a superb period miniature house with plenty of detail, right down to fireplaces and light fittings.

Yes, it needs a bit of work, but with a guide price of between £50 and £80, it's not a lot for something we suspect is incredibly rare. See the interior over the page, with the auction taking pace on 16th March 2011.

Vintage 1930s Pinball / Bagatelle Games at Pedlars

  Pinball+Happi+Time+small Pinball+Rocket+shotsmall

Pedlars have acquired a fantastic collection of around 50 depression-era vintage pinball and bagatelle games. Originally popular during the 1930s and used at home and in bars, these tabletop amusements were the precursor to the pinball machine.

The games are the genuine article and each is a one-off – once sold these precise designs are unlikely to be available again. They are all in good condition and working order but with their colourful and eye-catching designs they would work just as well as decorative pieces.

These slices of genuine Americana are priced at £395 each.

To view more examples and to purchase, visit the Pedlars website.

Barbour 75th Anniversary International Jacket now on sale

Barbour75

We flagged this up a few weeks back, with December 1st mentioned for a launch date. That never happened, but at last, the Barbour 75th Anniversary International Jacket is finally available to buy online, if you are quick.

As we said back then, it's been produced to celebrate 75 years of the International jacket. Barbour are making 75 of the limited edition jackets, based on the original design, which was created for the 1936 International Six Day Trials. Worn by competitive motorcyclists through to the 1970s and of course, famously by Steve McQueen. Take your pick from a 'box-fresh' or 'distressed' finish (the latter pictured above), both of which are available now.

End Clothing has it, £375 is the price of the 'box-fresh', £425 is the cost of the 'distressed' version.
