We rarely cover art in our eBay spot, not least because it can be hard to find any great value in the big-name art listed on the site. But these Oscar Maxera signed abstract artworks are good value – all starting for (and still at) under £5.

eBay watch: 1950s midcentury-style side table
Love this design – and right now, this 1950s midcentury-style side table isn't any money.
Details are scarce (manufacturer and wood type for example), but thankfully there are large images, showing off that really smart abstract design on the table's surface. Below that are three angles legs, with a 'protective band' around the edge of the table.
Condition is described as 'excellent' with 'only slightest wear'. If that's fine with you, the table is currently at just £9.
Parisian Abstract Print Throw from Couverture
If you dream of living in an artist's garret in Montmartre but your reality is a one bedroom flat in Peckham, this fifties inspired Parisian Abstract Print Throw from Couverture can help create the desired ambiance.
Drawing on the abstract-expressionist style for inspiration, this grey, yellow and purple throw would make a stylish cover for any bohemian bed or sofa. The throw has a double thickness cotton front but if you fancy a change you could always display the reverse, which is washed cotton velvet with a hand-executed running stitch detail.
It measures 230x260cm and costs £299 from Couverture here.
Marcus Walters Autumn screenprint
Add a seasonal flavour to your wall with Marcus Walters' Autumn screenprint.
We've already shown you his take on the traditional children's alphabet and here he shows his style works for grown-ups too. The print plays with the bright silhouettes of leaves set against colourful abstracted shapes giving the artwork a very mid-century look.
This is one of a first edition of 40 and costs £175.

Next retro rug
From cushions to table wares, Next seem to be really playing up the retro influences with their Spring collection. The latest addition is this retro rug, featuring an abstract pattern in interlocking shapes. The green, grey and yellow colour scheme would work really well in relation to the other products we've featured or, if you want a more dramatic look, it also comes in red.
The down side is that it isn't made from wool, instead made from lookalike acrylic. However, this is reflected in the price which is a bit more affordable than some of the rugs we feature, ranging from £50 to £199 depending on size. The pattern is also available on a runner with prices starting at £50.
