Adidas Grand Slam trainers reissued in green canvas

Grandslam

It's a reissue of the Adidas Grand Slam trainers, although the colour and construction might be slightly controversial.

First seen in 1981, the Grand Slam is back in what's called a 'reverse' colourway, as well as featuring a canvas upper. I suspect we might have lost a few of you already. For those still in, the features and shape are generally intact, but with gold (not real gold obviously) used for the pegs in the sole.

The canvas upper comes in a 'twilight green' and the reissue is described as 'highly limited'. Pre-orders now being taken, £85 is the price.

Adidas Samba Suede reissue goes back to basics

Samba_suede

If plain, simple and classic is your idea of a good pair of trainers, you just might appreciate the latest reissue of the Adidas Samba Suede.

Very much back to basics with the original black and white colour scheme, gold detailing and branding, a premium suede upper, white contrast sole and white laces.

No rarity value, but the upside of that is a £49 price tag.

One of those is pictured above, the other is shown over the page. eBay watch: Adidas Carl Gruber Moon Boots

Moonboots

We actually featured the Adidas Carl Gruber range as far back as 2006, which is roughly when this reissue of the Adidas Carl Gruber Moon Boots hit the shelves. Sought after then, they're equally collectable now – and there's a pair on eBay if you are off skiing anytime soon and want to make an impression.

The range, in conjunction with the Austrian ski instructor Gruber, was big news in the 70s, with an updated range of old and new designs returning five or so years back. The Moon Boots were pure 70s excess, especially in the rainbow colour option.

This pair is a UK size 8, still in the box with tags and selling originally for £129.99. Right now, this pair is yours for £79.99 on a 'Buy It Now'.
