The flamboyant lettering of circus and vaudeville posters accompanies a Wild-West style image in this Dancing Horses Print from Sideshow Design.

Inspired by original billboard artwork and screen-printed on to handmade archival cotton paper in a limited edition run of 500, this is a unique piece of art that recalls the magic of Barnum & Bailey and their Greatest Show on Earth. The colour is created from a hand-mixed pigment ink ensuring depth and vibrancy that won't fade over time.

The print measures 16 x 20 inches unframed and is available in either blue or stone.

A piece of artwork in honour of a once much loved piece of kitchen equipment, this retro Kenwood Mixer print is from Bournemouth-based Etsy seller Nursey Bang Bang.

The A5 print celebrates the beauty – complete with orange trim – of this must-have of the 70s kitchen. Other prints also celebrate other now redundant household goods such as an old-fashioned hoover and a vintage Pifco iron.

Nursey Bang Bang describes her style as having a "whiff of the 50s, a dash of the mundane, a splattering of the 70s which is all rolled up in a picnic blanket full of cake crumbs". We heartily approve.

It still has that distinctive, vintage-esque collage style, but Sir Peter Blake also gives a nod to the contemporary art scene with the launch of his new set of prints, Homage to Damien Hirst – Butterfly Man.

According to the man himself: 'Damien Hirst has used butterflies in a lot in his work, and it was pointed out that 'the butterfly man' owes more than a little to his work, so I was happy to dedicate him in homage to Damien. I am an enormous admirer of Damien’s work.'

Great British Food print from Pedlars

Food print
Not something you'd want to look at if you're feeling a bit hungry, this Great British Food print is available from Pedlars. It features a list of some of Britain's most celebrated, most devoured and most famous food stuffs, from Bubble & Squeak to Toad in the Hole. It's available against either white or grey with the retro typeface perfectly complementing the tasty subject matter. 

The print is the work of Sara Williams and is part of Pedlars collection of work from graduates of Chelsea College of Art. All the proceeds from its sale (bar VAT and a handling fee) go towards their full graduate show in the summer. 

Just ten of the prints are available and cost £111 each.

Towards a New Britain by Blue Print

Towards a new
With the 60th anniversary of the Festival of Britain happening this year, here's another piece of art linked to the festival. This Towards a New Britain print by Blue Print uses the Abram Games designed emblem of the Festival and sets it behind the outlines of a hopeful looking couple – perhaps studying the future promised by the festival. 

It's just one of several prints produced by the artist Donald Short which relate to the Festival (you may remember his work from the Metroland print we featured a little while back). The distinctive colouring is made by using the cyanotype process – the blue print of architectural designs.

Produced as a limited edition of 100 copies, the print costs £35.
