Lundar Cushion by Sharon Pringle

SP_Lundar_cushion_120dpi
If I bought all of the great retro cushions featured on these pages, I’d have no space to sit on my sofa – but I think the Lundar Cushion by Sharon Pringle is still worth sharing.

The cushion is a soft charcoal colour with an atomic print in primary colours that is very 1950s and very fashionable now. The cushion is made from cotton panama, printed on the front with a plain back. It measures 45cm square and has a duck feather pad included. A similar design but on a light background called Anster is available too.

The cushion costs £70 from Avocado Sweet.

Atomic Coat Stand

Zoom_75374a
The Atomic Coat Stand has clearly influenced by Eames 1950s Hang It All.

The stand has a molecular structure which gives plenty of room for storing coats. Rather than a variety of bright coloured balls, the arms in this design just have red and black balls on the end.The stand is white with a heavy marble base, so it won’t topple over.

It costs just under £130 from I Love Retro.
