eBay watch: 1960s Raleigh RM6 motorised bicycle

If you fancy riding to work, but don't fancy the legwork, this 1960s Raleigh RM6 motorised bicycle could be for you.

Looking not unlike the many retro-styled bicycles we've featured on here in the past, the RM6 dates back to 1966 and according to the seller, is is 'exceptional condition for the year'. Beneath that vintage exterior lurks a 50cc engine, which should be nippy enough for town and city commuting, with a horn, lights and a newly-added rear carrier (not pictured) helping you along.

It's taxed and MOT'd, with the price right now at £50 should you fancy it for your commute.

It's a women's, single-speed city bike with a vintage twist, complete with handcrafted rounded frame straight out of the company's archives, Bella Ciao aluminium polished handlebars, polished aluminium wheels, Schwalbe Road Cruiser tyres and Brooks B17 leather saddle and hand-sewn, water-resistant leather grips.

The single speed hand crafted Corvo Citta Donna is available now for £599 or with a Shimano Nexus 3-speed internal gear hub for £699, both available in a variety of colours.

Zeitfrei Adidas cycling shoes for Bianchi

Big thanks to David Doesburg for flagging up this rather niche Adidas design out of Italy – the Zeitfrei Adidas cycling shoes for Bianchi.

It's a cross between a trainer and a plimsoll, complete with the vintage-style charm of the latter. But it is created for a purpose – light and with sufficient grip for street cycling.

The design is more Bianchi than Adi, but if you look closely, you'll still see those famous three stripes. Only available (as far as we know) from Bianchi direct, a pair sells from 108 Euros.
