Ogle large Lego-style toy box by The Life Aesthetic

Ogle

We love quirky design and of course, we also love Lego, so this Ogle toy box by The Life Aesthetic was always going to appeal.

Yes, of course this is designed to look like a large Lego brick and specifically, designed to hold a child's toys. But if you have no kids, it's still worth a look just for the design.

In terms of specifics, the Ogle has a cut-out on all four sides to avoid trapped fingers, a lid stay to hold the lid in place and a high quality Birch plywood finish. Choose from five colours options or get it done in a custom colour, with the price at £180.

eBay watch: 1950s midcentury-style oak sewing box

Sew1

With craft and 'make do and mend' all the rage right now, this midcentury-style oak sewing box could well be a sought-after item. Especially at this price.

Love the design, those curves and the angled legs, formed in oak and opening out into a number of compartments. See over the page for that, it's quite impressive.

According to the seller, the box is in 'good condition', with some age-related scratches and marks, but it is structurally sound. Price? As I right, it's at 99 pence. One to keep an eye on.

Ceramic retro tattoo-style heart shaped box

Ceramic-tattoo-storgage

This unusual ceramic heart shaped box features a retro tattoo-style design. The lid is covered with the words 'love forever' alongside all the emblems you'd expect from a traditional tattoo: a bleeding heart, birds, cupid. However, it's all rendered in white porcelain with a matt finish, rather than in pen and ink.

The box is much bigger than you might think too, measuring 30cm x 28cm, and making it quite a declaration of love for your home.

It's priced at £69.
