Swifty does classic snack-based pop art

Swifty1

You might know Swifty for everything from Straight No Chaser magazine, Mo' Wax and Talkin' Loud through to our very own Modculture site design, but you really should check out his artwork, including this very eye-catching snack-based pop art.

Yes, taking a leaf out of Andy Warhol's book, Swifty has taken various foodstuffs and given them his own twist – like the Salt 'n' Shake above or a classic chocolate bar over the page.

The image above is a four-colour, 500mm x 650mm silkscreen print on Arches Rives paper, limited to just 28, signed and numbered and available online for £75. Check them all out on the site, they'll look great in the kitchen.

Patchwork Harmony vintage chocolate moulds Christmas decorations

Patchwork copy

Christmas tree up but missing that final decorative touch? Patchwork Harmony have come up with an unusual but (literally) sweet idea. They are selling vintage chocolate mould decorations: moulds that are no longer in use, hung on ribbons, ready to hang onto the tree.

Somehow, judging from the image, the pretty shapes and the slightly aged material of the moulds actually seem to work quite well as decorations. Perhaps it would be worth plundering your Gran's cupboard or your local charity shops and seeing if you can make your own. If not, you can buy five in a pack for £6.95.
