Lego Drinks Bottle

  @ 2 1-4

There is no shortage of products out there for the Lego aficionado, the latest of which is this Drinks Bottle.

We've had storage bricks, storage heads, torches and lunch boxes and whilst some may be suffering from Lego fatigue, the classic style and block colours have some mileage yet.

This latest addition to the range is these colourful plastic bottles with Lego figure heads as the bottle top, which will certainly brighten up a packed lunch or picnic. In addition they are phtalate and bisphenol free  making them a safer option to store your beverage in.

You can pre-order the bottles from Firebox here.

From russia with love
Art Meets Matter are celebrating 007 with their James Bond collection.

The range includes mugs, book bags and deckchairs covered with the covers of some of Ian Fleming's most famous books. Though the designs have a period feel, they're actually taken from the 2002 US editions of the books and are designed by Richie Fahey.

There are six different novels to pick from for the mugs and a selection of three titles used on the bags, including the From Russia With Love design shown above. Meanwhile, you can pick from either  Casino Royale or Thunderball (pictured over the page) to adorn your deckchair.

The mugs cost £8.95, the book bag costs £15.95 while the chair is available for £74.95.

London Folk Mugs from Our Workshop

Folk mugs

Got your London traybag and lunchbox? If you really do love London town, you're sure to want to complete your collection with these London Folk Mugs from Our Workshop

Far removed from tourist tat, these mugs are actually quite classy little fellows – in fact they remind me of the work of Kenneth Townsend and his London series of tiles from the late 60s/early 70s. Each mug features a simple illustration of three characters of London – the Yeoman, the Royal Guard and a policeman – beautifully depiciting their iconic outfits, and their fine moustaches.

A mug costs £12.

Fairground mugs from Snowden Flood

Stop mug
Snowden Flood has been featured quite a few times on this site before: for her work featuring famous London landmarks and her take on design classics. A slightly different type of style is evident in her new range but still one that's pleasingly retro – as demonstrated with these fairground mugs.

The mugs feature illustrations influenced by traditional British folk art – indeed as the name suggests they are influenced by old-fashioned funfair signage. Each mug is decorated in a different colour with a different fairground ride style slogan.

The bone china mugs also draw on another British tradition in their manufacture as they are made in Stoke-On-Trent.

You can buy the mugs individually for £18.50 or as a set of four for £70.
