These Pop Art cushions from Dwell are a simple way to get some of the art movement's impact for your home.

There are three different styles available, all clearly influenced by the comic style of Roy Lichtenstein. One illustrates the Lichtenstein style distressed heroine, another cushion shows the classic hero and finally the last cushion features the typical action moment. Each design is printed onto a cotton fabric cover. However, if you really like the look of these pieces, each design is also available printed on canvas ready for display. 

The cushions cost £24.95 each, while the canvases cost £59.

Dwell Mushroom table lamp

Mushroom lamp

It was only earlier this year that we showed you BHS' take on 70s lighting style with their Mason lamp, now Dwell are also offering a budget version of the look with their mushroom table lamp. 

It's made from white glass and, as the name might suggest, is in the shape of a mushroom. It's not dissimilar in looks to the Artemide Onfale lamp, or many other Space Age 70s designs. This design definitely plays up the cute factor though, as it's only 21cm high.

The best news is that the lamp is currently on sale, reduced to just under half price at £11.95.

Circa Coffee Table from Dwell

Another new design from Dwell's latest collection, the Circa coffee table.

A few designer lookalikes aside, Dwell's furniture collection often focuses on a high gloss look – indeed, it mostly crops up here through space age style designs. This table is a change from its usual look with its simple shape, sloping legs and walnut veneer giving it more of a mid-century feel. There's also a dining table with a similar look that's due in towards the end of the month. 

The table is due in stock today and costs £249.

Vintage typewriter cushion at Dwell

We've already featured Dwell's Bertoia-like wire chair, part of their new collection. There are accessories worthy of note for retro fans too, such as this vintage typewriter cushion. 

It's a very simple black and white design with the outline of the telephone displayed against faint, typewritten text. If you really want to celebrate vintage home accessories, there's also a similar cushion available that features the outline of a telephone.

Dwell introduces the Harry Bertoia-like Wire Chair

Back in 2007, we featured the Bertoia Diamond armchair, a design classic from 1952 that's still in production via Knoll, retailing for the best part of £1,000. Alternatively, you can go to Dwell and buy the Wire Chair.

Let's be kind and say that the Wire Chair is inspired by the midcentury classic. I'm sure there's a few subtle differences to the designs, but you'll have to look very close to find them.

The Dwell version mixes black lacquered wire with white faux leather for the seating and involves a touch of self-assembly. But it does come at a hugely-reduced price, £149 to be precise. It's available to order now, with stock arriving in February.
