Limited edition Adidas x Star Wars Skywalker boots
Looks like Adidas is still persevering with its Star Wars range, although these Adidas x Star Wars Skywalker boots might have a little more appeal for movie die-hards than some of the range we've seen.
I'll be honest, I'm a passing rather than an obsessive Star Wars fan, so I'll have to take the maker's word for it that these are based on Luke's uniform whilst on planet Hoth. Obviously with an old school Adidas twist, along with contrast lacing and stripes, Luke Skywalker tongue details and 'toy' packaging.
Highly limited, they're yours for £99.
eBay watch: 1970s Herbie-styled Volkswagen Beetle
Not just an old Beetle, this is a 1970s Herbie-styled Volkswagen Beetle.
Specifically, this is a 1973 VW Beetle with a 1.3 engine, complete with the paint job inspired by the classic Herbie movies, which of course kicked off with the 1968 Love Bug movie.
According to the seller, the car has done 73,000 miles and has been taxed and tested. It's also described as a 'good runner and driver'. The price is £2,500, with lots of images on the sales page.
Icon blackboards from Ghost Furniture
We've previously featured the vintage blackboards of Ghost Furniture. They've given a twist to their designs with this new range of Icon blackboards.
The blackboards are each decorated with the silhouette of an iconic star. So you've got Twiggy sat in the corner of the frame that's pictured above, or you could pick Marilyn with skirt blowing up taken from The Seven Year Itch. Other designs feature Madonna, Audrey Hepburn and Coco Chanel, surely meaning there is one for any preference of style.
Each blackboard is a unique piece, so prices vary. As an indication the Twiggy blackboard is being sold for £125.

The Smurfs Smurfette Plush Toy from Firebox
The Smurfs may be a distant blue memory to you, but this Smurfette Plush Toy from Firebox is proof positive that they will be making an imminent return to our screens.
Simpsons luminary Hank Azaria and Dougie Howser MD himself, Neil Patrick Harris (another eighties throwback) accompany none other than Katy Perry who voices the aforementioned Smurfette in this 3D live action/CGI family movie.
The Smurfette Toy is every bit as cute as the original cartoon character. Measuring 10 inches high she's supersoft, as are her little blue friends; Gutsy, Clumsy and Papa Smurf. The toys cost £14.99 each and are available from Firebox here.
New trailer: The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn
We have covered Tintin on here in the past, not least because we're big Tintin fans. We've also reviewed the old Tintin live action movies of the 1960s – Tintin and the Blue Oranges and Tintin and the Mystery of the Golden Fleece. So we're more then keen to see what The Adventures of Tintin: The Secret of the Unicorn turns out like.
The movie is a big Hollywood affair, directed by Steven Spielberg no less, although we're more appreciative of the fact that Joe Cornish (of Adam and Joe) has a writing credit, so despite the big budget, we're hopeful it might well be a fitting tribute to the original comic strip.
Saying that, the real life-like animation might take some getting used to. Check out the trailer now below, with the big screen date set at October 26th 2011.
