John Lewis is going big on its 50s-inspired patterns at the moment, including the Elm Leaf design adorning this flower jug vase.
The elm leaf design has a great Fifties feel, with its skeletal plant forms depicted in blues, greys and beiges. First spotted as part of their revival mug range, it's now also available on other suitably retro products, ranging from watering cans to string in a tin.

Casamance is a French company and this wallpaper is taken from their 'London' collection, inspired by the swinging sixties. This translates to a repeat pattern of a retro-style black peacock flower, shown against a vivid green background. Another Union Jack inspired design, this time courtesy of Liberty who have produced this Flower Power Union Jack cushion.
It’s part of their collection produced for their ‘Flower Power’ summer, part of the famous department store’s involvement in the Carnaby Street 1960 – 2010 celebrations. The Union Jack is made up using Liberty floral fabrics, giving a prettier look to the flag. You can also buy a square cushion in the same design.

More fun and attractive retro designs courtesy of ISAK's new mugs. Sandra Isaksson's distinctive designs are as bright and appealing as ever, drawing on a range of influences.
The fish mug has a Scandinavian feel and reminds me of the New House Textile 50s herring design jar we featured a little while back, while the flower design has a similar look to all the reworked Fifties florals that have been seen recently. This design is also available on a pink background and, to complete the set, the range also includes a great pea-pod design.
Both mugs are made from bone china and, thankfully, are dishwasher safe. You can buy them for £7.25 each.
