Love the colour, but also love the face that it's not unlike a Holmegaard vase for your ceiling. The Peil and Putzler ceiling lamp that is.
Out of the 1970s (as you might have guessed), it is actually glass rather than plastic in construction, with the orange outer contrasted by a white inner glaze. The bulb casing is apparently fitted with three retractable prongs, which thread through the lampshade.
Condition? 'Very good' according to the seller, with a 'few very small chips' on the bottom rim of the lampshade on the white glaze, but 'hardly noticeable'. If you want it, right now it's at 99 pence.
Coca-Cola 125 years box set
2011 marks 125 years of Coca-Cola and, as you might expect, the company have released several products to mark the occasion, including this 125 years box set.
The set is sold exclusively in Selfridges and consists of a branded wooden crate, containing replicas of four different early cola bottles dating from 1899 to 1916 and showing the evolution of their distinctive bottle. The set includes their first bottle style, the Hutchinson, which is also available individually.
The box set costs £39.99, or you can buy a single Hutchinson style bottle for £1.99.

We've featured various ways of re-using old milk bottles in the past, from vases to light shades. These Pintie Milk bottle milk jugs from Whosglass offer a use that's a bit closer to their original function.
These bottles have been hand-manipulated and made into jugs. They retain their original decoration, so feature charming retro advertising like the one for Kellogg's cornflakes shown in the image above.
