We have featured the classic Airstream caravan in the past and at first glance, you would think this is one. But it's actually a Rooftop Rocket, found on the roof of the Brooks Guesthouse in Bristol.

Retro Retreat: Hotel Josephine in Paris
We haven't done a Retro Retreat in a while, but after spotting the Hotel Josephine in Paris on the latest Secret Escapes newsletter, we thought it would fit the bill.
Fancy a Retro To Go weekend to the Midland in Morecambe?
Ok, we did talk about doing a Retro To Go weekend, but never got round to sorting it out. Well, after some discussions and a reconnaissance mission to the town this weekend, we are considering a Retro To Go weekend event in Morecambe.
Aside from the (severely) faded glamour of the place itself (a great place for charity shopping, vintage clothing and vintage books), we're looking at trying to book the art deco Midland Hotel, recently renovated by Urban Splash and a stunning mix of the old and the new.
We have ideas to keep you busy all weekend, but before we start planning anything, we want to know if people would be interested. Feedback across any of our social networks, the site and 'old school' email. Just let us know and we can start looking at this seriously.
Retro Retreat: The 007 Suite at the Seven Hotel, Latin Quarter, Paris
Themed hotel rooms are nothing new, but the 007 Suite at the Seven Hotel, Latin Quarter, Paris might just have the ability to draw a gasp out of you.
This 60s-inspired boudoir is just one of 28 themed suites at the hotel – everything from Alice in Wonderland through to Marie Antoinette, plus some simply based around colour schemes. But the Bond-inspired suite looks like the one to book.
Art deco-styled Midland Hotel in Morecambe – now under new management
Owners Urban Splash has partnered up with high-end hotel group English Lakes Hotels, maintaining its ownership, but giving over the management and marketing of the hotel to English Lakes. That hopefully means someone answering emails, a restaurant on a par with the surroundings and a hitch-free online booking service. Essentially, dealing with all the things that have let it down so far in our eyes (we’re presuming they can’t do anything about Morecambe itself).
Saying that, the hotel is still worth a visit, especially if you love art deco architecture, retro-styled interiors and bracing seafront walks. You can check out our full review here or visit the Midland website below.
