Isak Nova Meadow Bedding

Isak has been making woollen blankets in their popular penguin print for a while now, but they’ve recently expanded their bedding range to include the more grown-up Nova Meadow Bedding.

Like their other designs, the pattern is bold and colourful with a Scandinavian influence. The set consists of a duvet cover (in a choice of three sizes) with two matching pillowcases, all made from 100% silk cotton. Prices range from £!00 for the Queen size up to £130 for the Superking.

ISAK Harvest Wallpaper

This Harvest Wallpaper is another great design courtesy of ISAK.

With its depiction of fish, onions, peas and herbs, this design references Marianne Westman's classic 1956 Picknick design (which was reissued last year). The same basic ingredients have been given an update with ISAK's distinctive Scandinavian 70s style and have been made available for your wall, not just your dining table. Like all of ISAK's wallpapers, you send them the width and height of the area you want covering and they custom make the rolls for your wall. 

The paper costs £38 per square metre.

We've featured so many Blossom and Bill products on this site, it's hard to believe that it's only now that they are making an appearance on a tea towel. 

Yes, ISAK's retro couple are finally ready to help you do your dishes. Their charming features have been depicted in four bright colour schemes. Take your pick from brown, blue, pink and green. There's even four suitably cheery mugs to match.

Familjen Tablecloth from ISAK

Isak table cloth

It's been a while since we featured a product from ISAK but rest assured that their recent products are as full of retro charm as ever, such as this Familjen tablecloth. 

The tablecloth is covered with some of the ISAK family we already know and love, such as Inger and Olle, combined with some new characters too. They're printed onto water-resistant cotton which, very importantly, is apparently easy to wipe clean. Measuring 180cm x 140cm, it's perfect for use at your own family gatherings. 

The tablecloth costs £65.

New retro mugs from ISAK

Isak mugs

More fun and attractive retro designs courtesy of ISAK's new mugs. Sandra Isaksson's distinctive designs are as bright and appealing as ever, drawing on a range of influences.

The fish mug has a Scandinavian feel and reminds me of the New House Textile 50s herring design jar we featured a little while back, while the flower design has a similar look to all the reworked Fifties florals that have been seen recently. This design is also available on a pink background and, to complete the set, the range also includes a great pea-pod design. 

Both mugs are made from bone china and, thankfully, are dishwasher safe. You can buy them for £7.25 each.

Fika cups new at ISAK

Fika cups

Regular readers will know that we are massive fans of the Scandinavian retro stylings of ISAK, so a new product is always exciting. And here are the Fika cups: two small handle-less cups used for drinking or snacking, or just looking nice! 

The cups come in a set of two. One cup is decorated with a 'Familjen' design, featuring heads of people in a similar style to their Blossom and Bill range, and the other is covered in a 'Harvest' food-inspired design (which reminded me of some of the rediscovered 1950s designs we've featured from New House Textiles). 

Another great addition to the ISAK collection, they come in an attractive presentation box and cost £18 for the pair.
