For something slightly more unusual for your walls, take a look at Gina Pierce's History Maps wallpaper.

We've featured her bags and textile designs before, which use layers of old maps to create a striking look. This wallpaper relies on exactly the same effect – the overlaid old maps giving a sense of the layers of history of a place. Add to this effect a choice of suitably aged colours: it's available in either grey, parchment or pink.

London Weekend print at Bodie and Fou

Sadly not a large graphic of the old London Weekend Television image (there's an idea for all you graphic designers), the London Weekend print at Bodie and Fou is still a very unique and eye-catching piece of art.

Designed by Betsy Benn, it features what are described as 'London's most popular weekend destinations' in a vintage font against a matt black background that's probably going to be familiar to seasoned bus users in the capital.

It's printed on 305gm Hahnemuhle photo rag, ultra smooth paper and sixzed at A2, which is 42 x 59.4cm. Sold unframed, it sells for £45.

The Pretty City Mug and Coaster are typical of Pretty City’s products, which feature nostalgic images of London.

The mug is decorated with multiple images of a black London cab, plus one illustration of a traditional red London bus for contrast. The mug is sold with its own coaster, a handy addition in itself, but the coaster can also double as lid for the mug to help keep the heat in your drink for longer.

Adidas London City Series trainers back in stock online

The recent reissue of the Adidas London flew off the shelves at one particular retailer. But here's some good news if you missed out – the Adidas Online Store has loads of them, in almost every size too right now.

Safly not the brown suede version but the black suede version with red/orange detailing, gold foil print, embossed pimpled tongue and a gum sole.

Pick up a pair of the City Series reissue for £50 (which is actually cheaper than previously sold too) at the Adidas Online Store. Interestingly, the site also has a yellow variation that we've not seen previously – although right now it's only showing in a size 5. See a shot of that over the page.

London Bus Cushion by Lilac Coast

Yes, it's a cushion, shaped like a bus – specifically the London Bus Cushion by Lilac Coast.

Based on a vintage London bus (a number 23 if that means anything to you), it's made of a red spotted fabric, with detailing in a vintage-style floral cloth, the whole thing sized around 27 x 35cm.

Sold with the cushion pad, you can grab one online for £20.

You Are Here and May We Help You? – vintage-style London maps by Herb Lester Associates

Not just any old maps, these midcentury-inspired You Are Here and May We Help You? pocket-sized maps add a vintage twist, as well as an interesting twist in content.

Both feature illustration by Michael Newhouse, A3 folded to A6 and litho printed on recycled paper by Herb Lester Associates of London.

You Are Here (pictured over the page) pinpoints cool places to meet, chosen for their charm, for their convenience or simply because the compilers love them. May We Help You? focuses on 'London’s most useful suppliers' – sources for products and services ranging from rubber tubing to 18th-century lamps, Super 8 film to covered buttons, leather repairs to bookbinding. Copies are available online for £3, including postage.
