eBay watch: 1960s Quant-like mirror

Quant

Ok, it's not made by Mary Quant, but this Finnish 1960s mirror certainly has the look of the Mary Quant daisy.

It's actually from the right decade, apparently made by Finnish company Makisen Kuvastin and offering up a brown and white plastic frame with the round mirror sat within, the whole thing around 52.5cm wide.

Sold in 'very good condition', it has just one bid on it at the moment, but that bid is just 99 pence.

1970s-style Loop mirror by Nazanin Kamali for Case

Kamali

There's curves offer up a distinctly 1970s look, but the Loop mirror by Nazanin Kamali for Case is actually a very modern affair.

It's also quite a clever thing too – that squared-off oval frame hosting a long portrait-style mirror and a shelf, which makes it perfect for holding all your essential bits and pieces.

It looks like plastic, but that frame is actually formed birch ply, with an oak veneer finish, which, combined with the designer name, probably accounts for the £329 price tag.

Tetris Mirror by Sonar Ozenc

Tetris mirror

We've featured many Tetris-inspired products before, from chocolates to tiles. Here's another way the game can creep off the Game Boy and into your home: the Tetris Mirror

Designed by Sonar Ozenc, it's made from laser-cut acrylic and comes in thirteen panels, using the shapes so familiar from the game. It's then up to you whether you display them as one rectangle or break it down into the different parts. The temptation would be to keep re-arranging them for optimum (theoretical) points!

The mirror is available in silver or gold and costs £39.85.
