Whitby mug from Mini Moderns
If you found yourself lusting over Mini Moderns' 1950s-inspired Whitby wallpaper but not able to run to the cost of a roll, they've launched a few options featuring this stylish design that are more purse friendly, such as this Whitby mug.
Featuring a detail of the distinctive seacape design, this mug is only available in one shade – the lido colour, which also matches one of the wallpaper colourways. The mug offers a taster for their full range of Whitby porcelain which is meant to be coming soon to their shop – we'll let you know when it does. Real enthusiasts can meanwhile invest in either or all of a cushion, canvas bag or a tea towel that also features the design.
The mug costs £8.

Dwell Mixed Message Mug
New in at Dwell is the Mixed Messages Mug.
The mug comes with 150 numbers and characters so you can create your own personalised message. The end result looks rather like a ransom note, which always brings to mind a punk aesthetic. It looks as if it would hold quite a lot of tea too, which is always a good thing in our book.
The mug costs £16.95 from the Dwell website.
Julia Davey VW Vans & Caravans Ceramics
Julia Davey has produced a small collection VW Vans & Caravans Ceramics, similar in style to her Retro Robot Ceramics we featured in the past.
This collection currently consists of a jug, a mug and a bowl, although other items may be added in the future. The designs start off as pen and ink drawings which are then scanned and transferred onto the ceramics. A particularly nice touch is that as well as the design on the outside, there is a van or caravan on the inside of the piece too. The bowl costs £16, mug £17 and jug £19.
