Serge – Singer, Lover, Provocateur, Smoker limited edition print by Bonnie and Clyde

Serge

A tribute to an icon who has, perhaps, never been so hip, the Serge – Singer, Lover, Provocateur, Smoker limited edition print by Bonnie and Clyde.

The print focuses more on just one of those attributes, with Serge Gainsbourg captured in four smoking poses on a print that's sized at 23 x 30 inches, silkscreen printed and limited to just 20 – each one signed by the artists.

Want one? You can order Serge online, priced at £250.

Crosley Revolution CR6002 portable record player now available in the UK

Crosley

Some of you might remember that last month we said that the Crosley Revolution CR6002 portable record player was available in the US. At the same time, we said we we expected Urban Outfitters to jump on it in the UK eventually. Well, it just has.

The Revolution is a reworking of the Sound Burger, that favourite of the crate digger, offering (we presume) the same features as the US model, which is portable record playback at 33/45 speeds, full range stereo speakers, battery power, an FM transmitter for firing music over to your audio system wirelessly and a USB socket, so you can easily transfer vinyl to digital formats.

Not sure about instore stock, but the player is available online right now in the ivory colour right now, priced at £165.

eBay watch: Sanyo G2311NK briefcase audio system

Briefcase

There's definitely a touch of the James Bond about this Sanyo G2311NK briefcase audio system.

Yes, your eyes don't deceive you – this is a complete stereo system in a briefcase, dating back to the 1980s and able to work on battery or mains. For your money, you get a record deck, cassette playback, three-band radio and detachable speakers, all of which slips together for you to carry round on your travels. Think of it as an old school iPod.

Accroding to the seller, it's in full working order, good condition and apparently cost a packet when new. Not today – on eBay it's just £14.99 right now.

Korg Monotron vintage-style portable synthesiser

Korg

It's far from cutting edge these days, but back in the 80s, something like the Korg Monotron synthesiser could well have got you on Top of The Pops.

Using the same analogue filter found in the legendary Korg MS-10 synth (an instrument of choice for synth bands 30+ years back), this battery-powered keyboard packs an easy-to-use keyboard, an internal speaker and headphone jack plus voltage and low frequency-controlled oscillators for creating those crazy vintage-style synth grooves. You can also filter and modulate sounds from other external sources via the audio input jack.

It could be too much fun. Available online, it sells for £59.99.
