Whilst I think it would be true to say that most of us are over the Keep Calm and Carry On motif, luckily the Keep Calm Gallery has some other gems in store such as this, An A to Z of New York Print.

Trainspotters NYC Walk/Don’t Walk Street Signs
An amazing opportunity to own a piece of New York iconography comes in the shape of these original Walk/Don't Walk Street Signs from industrial salvage specialists Trainspotters.
These classic signs have never been used as they were in storage when the decision was taken in 1999 to decomission this style of sign and replace it with an LED graphic version. Made of cast aluminum and vandal-proof glass (and weighing a hefty 6.8kg) the signs have been fitted with new circuitry and flash at timed intervals. They can be either wall-mounted or suspended.
Owning a piece of NYC history will set you back a hefty £925 + VAT. Find out more here.
2012 Volkswagen Beetle gets an official launch
Apparently the 'new' Volkswagen Beetle has been around since 1998, so VW thought it was time to go back to drawing board. The result is the 2012 Volkswagen Beetle, which is officially launched today.
If you want to just see the pretty pictures, check out over the page for those. But if you want detail, read on. Launching at car shows in Shanghai, Berlin and New York, it's likely to appear at dealers from late 2011, offered in various guises – a 170 horsepower 2.5-litre version, a turbo-charged 2.0-litre four-cylinder TSI engine or the latest TDI turbo diesel unit. This is no Fiat 500 competitor, that's for sure.
Vintage-inspired New York Photo
This vintage-inspired print of a lomography photo of New York is shot with a Holga camera and gives a retro-looking soft finish to the picture.
You can buy a print of the photo, entitled "New York City looking downtown" which was shot with a Holga CFN toy camera. The camera creates a dreamy lense and was taken with a Delta 2300 film to enhance the grainy quality of the photo.
It can be shipped from America for $6 and is 8 x 8 inches and costs $35 (£22.38) from Etsy.
Where The Sidewalk Ends: How to find old New York vintage-style map by Herb Lester Associates
Remember this really cool London Print by Jim Datz at Pedlars? Well, the same artist is behind the latest Herb Lester Associates vintage-style map, going by the name of Where The Sidewalk Ends: How to find old New York.
Yes, following on from the likes of the 1960s London, You Are Here and May We Help You? maps, this is the firsr trip outside the Uk, with Datz providing the vintage-style imagery for what's described as 'a guide to the New York you’ve always wanted to see but feared might have disappeared for good'.
Expect Edward Hopper diners and down-at-heel dive bars, overstocked grocery stores and mountainous pastrami sandwiches. From Patsy’s Pizzeria in Harlem, to the Nom Wah Tea Parlor in Chinatown, taking in along the way Katz's, the '21' Club and McSorley's Old Ale House to name just a few places. It is A3 (297x420mm) folded to A6 (105x148mm), and litho printed on recycled paper. Price? Just £3.
La Vie Ordinaire wallpaper from B&Q
If you like Cath Kidston's London design or the retro city views of Lizzie Allen's City Gents wallpaper or indeed the the C'est Magnifique wallpaper we featured a couple of weeks ago, this La Vie Ordinaire wallpaper from B&Q could offer you a good budget option.
Like those three designs, it's decorated with illustrations of a city, in this case showing London, Paris and New York. It's a very nostalgic, touristy viewpoint so New York gets yellow cabs and the Statue of Liberty; London gets gents in suits and a girl in a rain mac holding a bulldog. The retro feel is further enhanced by the red and yellow highlights that have been used as part of the illustrations.
The paper costs £19.98 for 10 metres
