Looking for an old school running shoe? You might be interested in the reissue of the Nike Vengeance Vintage trainers.

Dating back to 1985 (but actually looking even older), it's a lightweight running shoe with a mesh and textile upper, as well as what's described as 'unparalleled support', should you be considering hitting the road or track in a pair.

All of that is finished off with the Nike 'swish' and a blue and silver/grey colourway. If you want a pair, £59 is the price.

1970s Nike Cortez trainers back in a light vinyl finish

Cortez

A no-nonsense 1970s classic is back with a new finish – the Nike Cortez trainers.

Well, we say it's a new finish – it is and it isn't. The new material is a lightweight nylon upper, but the colour scheme is apparently an original college colourway. Specifically, that's white with a touch of red and blue, plus an oversized 'swoosh'.

Available online, a pair retails for £49.

1970s Nike Cortez trainers return in sky blue nylon

Nike

Nike is all too often overshadowed by other trainer labels on these pages (usually for good reason). But we do love the latest reissue of the classic Nike Cortez trainers.

A lightweight shoe that dates back to 1972 under the original name of the Tiger Corsair, it now gets a back to basics reissue in a light nylon finish and in a sky blue with white details. But there;s still room for the contrast jagged sole, round toe piece and trademark 'swoosh'.

Available on pre-order now, £50 is the price you'll need to pay.
