Orla Kiely for Apple brings together retro prints with thoroughly modern technology.

The collection consists of a range of bags and sleeves, all design exclusively for Apple and specifically to fit around your Mac. The products are available in three prints; her signature stem print, the car park print, and probably the most appropriate for computer related products, a pattern called Binary, which consists of zeros and ones.

Prices start at £59.95 for the Mac sleeves and go up to £194.95.  Buy them online from the Apple Store.

Interesting that Citroen was running an 'anti-retro' campaign recently, Obviously didn't tick too many boxes, as the company has now gone retro, specifically with the Citroen DS3 by Orla Kiely.

But it's not gone too retro. The selling point here is the same Citroen DStyle HDi 90 model that's been around for a while, only this time it comes with a choice of four Orla Kiely designs for the exterior. There's also plenty of interior detail, including stem print rear window graphics, a colour contrasting dashboard, themed door handle inserts, Orla Kiely embossed multi-coloured headrests on the leather seats and stem or acorn print carpet mats for the interior detail.

We've featured so many new Orla Kiely designs recently, you could probably fill your house with them. Another easy way to introduce her style into your home is with her new wallpaper prints, now available online. 

Pictured here is the wonderfully retro-styled Rhododendron wallpaper (you may remember that we featured this on bed linen a little while back). Worth a look is the brown and cream acorn wallpaper which is also being sold on the website alongside other other classic Kiely designs. 

The papers cost £60 a roll.

Orla Kiely Car Park Bedding half price through Dot Maison Group Buy

It is likely that you will have already seen Orla Kiely’s Car Park Bedding range, featuring a repeating pattern of white retro cars on a bright coloured background, but this week you have the opportunity to buy it at half price through Dot Maison’s Group Buy scheme.

Each week the Group Buy scheme has a different offer, and this week is the Car Park Bedding range in the mandarin orange colourway, in either a single, double or king size set. The sets are offered at this bargain price, but to activate the offer, there needs to be a minimum of 10 purchases for each size. Once ten customers have expressed an interest, then the deal is on, running until the end of the working week or until their stocks run out.

Pure Evoke Mio DAB radio by Orla Kiely

Pure is battling Roberts for the designer radio crown, but we think this Pure Evoke Mio DAB radio by Orla Kiely just edges the Roberts Cath Kidston radio.

As you can see, the exterior is covered by Orla Kiely's signature stem print, finished off with a mirrored chrome handle and a walnut-veneered cabinet. According to Pocket Lint, it has both DAB and FM reception, with an input for an iPod or MP3 player and the option of the Pure ChargePAK for up to 24 hours of portable listening per charge. Other features include 30 presets and Intellitext and textScan functions for pausing and scrolling through text information.

The Pure Evoke Mio DAB radio by Orla Kiely will be on sale exclusively at John Lewis from early November and at other retailers from March 2011. £149.99 will secure you one. Another shot of the radio over the page.

New kitchenware from Orla Kiely

Ok teapot

As regular readers of this site will know, the world of Orla Kiely has been busy as of late, with the launch of her perfume as well as the Pattern book . Here's more new product, with a fantastic new range of kitchenware. 

The range moves far beyond mugs and includes most things required for a stylish kitchen: from bread bins to casserole dishes, sugar bowls to gratin dish, as well as the beautiful teapot pictured above. The teapot, and many of other wares, are decorated with her poppy meadow pattern, while several other of the new products use the linear stem pattern – a simplified version of her famous design.

Not released for sale just yet, it's available for pre-order at Heal's. Prices range from £15 for sugar bowl up to £50 for the teapot.
