I love this design – and the midcentury Danish rocking chair isn't too expensive as I write.
It's a refurbished design, with what looks like a good job on it too. The cushions have new foam adhering to current fire regulations, with new upholstery in a textured green fabric plus a restored solid teak frame. It's even got brand new webbing.
The design is still intact though, with those lovely curves and sloping back. £79.99 is the current bid price.
It's exclusive to Heal's, so if you want to pick up the Sova Bed by John Jenkins, you'll have to get it at one of its stores or online.

Stylish modern-day retro from John Lewis, with its Mira furniture range.
The range is described as 'midcentury Scandi-style furniture', with angled legs, subtle curves and above all, simplicity. All the items in the range are made of lacquered light oak wood, with some pieces coming with white ply covers.

This Harvest Wallpaper is another great design courtesy of ISAK.
With its depiction of fish, onions, peas and herbs, this design references Marianne Westman's classic 1956 Picknick design (which was reissued last year). The same basic ingredients have been given an update with ISAK's distinctive Scandinavian 70s style and have been made available for your wall, not just your dining table. Like all of ISAK's wallpapers, you send them the width and height of the area you want covering and they custom make the rolls for your wall.

Hus & Hem have just ordered in a great selection of Ary trays – the classic range of patterned birch wood trays that have been made in Sweden since the Fifties. The selection includes patterns from the Arts and Crafts movement and Liberty fabric designs but it was this circular Albaster tray that caught my eye.
It's another take on the 70s-style folk flowers that are just about everywhere at the moment. This is made interesting by the playful patterns created with the black outline against the white of the tray. Indeed in their product blurb, Hus & Hem say it reminds them of another retro classic – the Spirograph!

A strange light – and one that doesn't come cheap – but there's no denying that the Piet Hein Sinus 330D table light is a stunning piece of midcentury Scandinavian design.
Originally designed in 1967, the Sinus 330D was originally produced in plastic, but didn't quite match up the designer's high standards. It was remade in glass, which is the version back on the market today.
Specifically, this flying saucer-like design has a shade in handblown glass, with a brushed steel frame and red contrasting cord. All of that will set you back a whopping £1,100.
