iSupr8 app – more Super 8 movie shooting for your iPhone

You might recall the 8mm Vintage Camera app we featured a few weeks back. Well, now there's another operating in similar territory – the iSupr8 app for the iPhone.

It's not a million miles away from the other app in theory- shoot video directly from the app, giving it a film-burn just like Super 8 home movies. Once shot, you can watch your video back, save the videos to your camera roll, email them or add to Facebook. There's also the option to use the iPhone's LED spotlight for shooting in the dark.

A video over the page gives you an idea of how it works. Read the reviews of both apps before you go for one, but if you opt for this, it sells for $1.99 or £1.19.

Yesterday we reminded you about our vintage camera apps article, but today we've spotted something equally as good for moving pictures – the 8mm Vintage Camera app for the iPhone and iPod touch.

It's as it sounds, an app that allows you to turn the video camera on your Apple device into a vintage movie camera. A while back, we ran a feature on the best vintage camera apps for the iPhone, one of which was a Polaroid app. If you want to complete the look, you need Photoroid by Ryan Astle.

As you might have guessed, it converts your iPhone into a Polaroid camera. At least, in looks anyway. You get artwork for the back of your phone, with a smaller piece for the front, combining to create that vintage-style look.

It fits all iPhones, takes around five minutes to apply (and less to remove), with an online price of $14.99.

Over 10 years on, Lekki reissues the Nokia 3210 mobile phone

It sold 160 million units when it first launched back in 1999 and over 10 years on, the Nokia 3210 has been reissued for those who want a 'back to basics' mobile phone in their pocket.

From the people who recently brought back the Motorola StarTAC, this is a recycled 'vintage' phone that's undergone a modern makeover. Indeed, it follows the same principles as that first phone, with a choice of bright colours (or simply a black finish) for that recycled phone, new premium packaging, a charger and new battery.

If you've forgotten the original, there's a rather basic set of features, including mono ringtones, vibration function, the option to call and text, an alarm, calculator plus smack, rotation and memory for the games. In a strange kind of way, this Nokia 3210 will probably get you more attention than a new iPhone 4 – and for a price of 75 Euros online.
