Adidas London City Series trainers get new blue suede finish

London

Once a rarity from the Adidas archive, then reissued as a limited edition as part of the City Series reissue program, the Adidas London trainers have now appeared in at least five different colour options, with the latest being this blue suede finish.

The shape is as you expect, a slimline, fairly low shoe with perforated tongue and contrasting slim gum sole, with the London lettering in gold. The difference here is that colour, a blue suede upper, with contrasting blue detailing for the stripes and heel.

New Adidas Samba reissues in blue or grey suede

Samba1

It's been around in the Adidas archives for over 60 years, yet the Adidas Samba is still one of, if not THE most reissued Adidas trainer of the modern era. In fact, two more have been added to the ranks, a reissue on medium lead (aka grey) and a new version in bluebird (aka blue).

Aside from those colours, this is pretty much a reissue by numbers, aside from one thing. That means a suede upper, contrast detailing, gold Samba branding, a gum sole and spare set of laces. That mesh liner is perhaps the only noticeable difference to recent versions.

See the other colour option over the page, with the price at £52.

Suede Knee Skirt from Oasis

Oasissuede

While mini and pencil skirts are the go to for many retro looks, there's plenty of untapped options from 20th century fashion. This Suede Knee Skirt from Oasis has a great late sixties/early seventies feel thanks to the cut and textural fabric choice.

Made from a warm camel shade of suede, the fabric is ideal for creating a stiff and structural a-line shape. With diagonal detailing, the high waist and knee length offer something that's both classic and unique among a sea of on the nose miniskirts and fifties floral numbers.

Get it now from Oasis for £70.
