A midcentury-inspired exclusive on the hugh street, this Ercol for John Lewis Chiltern Dining Furniture.

The designs for both the chairs and the table are based in original 1950s Ercol archive designs, with splayed legs and a white painted finish. The chairs are made of ash, with double 'X' stretchers, splayed legs, and criss-crossed spokes in the back. The table is also made of ash, with a smooth rectangular shape with rounded ends.

The table is £399, while the chairs are £179 each. More images over the page.

Robin Day for Hille 1960s space age coffee table

Nice bit of space age design – and not something you see all that often – this Robin Day for Hille 1960s space age coffee table.

We have featured an armchair that the designer did in a similar style, also made by Daty for Hille. This is the perfect side table for it, a coffee table with storage in the centre if you remove the central disc.

It's described as being in 'very good vintage condition', with two very small cigarette burns that are 'only noticeable on close inspection'. £9.99 is the current price.

eBay watch 4x 1960s Anvia table and wall lamps

Not one quirky piece of 1960s lighting, you get four if you successfully bid on these Anvia table and wall lamps.

Full of early-to-mid 1960s charm, the metal lamps, two wall and two table/desk, were apparently originally sold as a set 'back in the day' and this set, amazingly, remains intact.

In fact, according to the seller, the lamps are in 'near perfect' condition, with no dents or rusting. See the listing for more detailed shots, with the price at just 1 pence now, although there's still plenty of time to go.

eBay watch: Arkana Tulip dining table

If you're on the look out for a 'new' dining table for your home, check out this Arkana Tulip dining table, which is currently on eBay.

Based on the Eero Saarinen design, this one was the work of Maurice Burke for Arkana a few years after. After all these years, it's still a space age classic and a very stylish item in its own right.

This example ha a circular laminated plywood top with white laminate finish, sat on a white-coated metal base. It's sized around 120cm diameter and 73cm high, good for seating four people. Condition is described as 'excellent' and the price right now is £2.20.

Umbra Condolisa Side Table – in the shape of a modernist house

One of our more popular recent posts was the Umbra Fishcondo, which was a fish bowl shaped like a modernist house. Well, not only is there a version for your goldfish, but there's a similar design for you to enjoy now, with the Umbra Condolisa Side Table.

As you might have guessed, it's by the same design team of Luong & Cheng, this time offering up a larger version of the modernist-inspired dwelling, as well as a version that has frosted acrylic cut-out windows within the high gloss wooden structure, plus some shelves for your bits and pieces. It also has a removable lid for last-minute hiding of your living room rubbish at short notice.

A new design for 2011 and standing around 48cm tall, it sells for £216.
