While the high street brands might occasionally dip their toes in retro design, there's plenty of smaller businesses getting their vintage inspired pieces just right all year round. One such designer is UK-based Bubblegum Vegas, with their great range of kitschy retro jewellery and accessories.

The stand out pieces are the rockabilly items, taking vintage tattoo and nautical influences and creating affordable earrings and necklaces to give an effortless nod to your favourite era. Shown above are the Good Luck necklace and Anchor's Away earrings, retailing at £18 and £16 respectively.

All-new Lambretta LN scooter priced for UK

Regular readers might remember that we featured the return of the Lambretta at the back end of last year. Well, the details of the Lambretta LN scooter launch are starting to take shape – with details of a new Lambretta LS scooter also emerging.

First up, the LN scooter, which has now landed at selected dealers ahead of the full launch. One of those is WK Bikes wkbikes.com, which will have the LN 125. There's an LN 150 to follow later in the year. Both are 'twist and go' automatic scooters, mixing that with old school looks reminiscent of the original using plastic and metal.

Not as cheap as you think though. Made in Taiwan and imported into the UK, the Lambretta LN 125 sells for around £3,300. Ouch. Look out for a twin-seated LS scooter too – that's pictured over the page and will come in 50cc and 125cc models. Likely to be cheaper, but we suspect not by a huge amount.

Fiat 500 by Gucci priced and dated for UK

Fiat loves a special edition Fiat 500. Not content with launching the Ferrari version, a Diesel model and a convertible, the Italian car giant is now offering the Fiat 500 by Gucci in the UK.

First mentioned back in February, the car has been customised by Gucci to celebrate 150 years of Italian unification and the 90th anniversary of Gucci. Two variations will be available, a 1.2-litre model for £14,565 and the 0.9-litre TwinAir model, which will set you back £15,765. Both will be available online, first come first served, later this month.

Expect numerous special features, including the distinctive colour scheme, a mix of two-tone black with white interior or white exterior with satin chrome and black interior and the option to buy matching clothing by Gucci to go with your new runaround. None of which is likely to come cheap.

eBay watch: 1960s Morecambe and Wise That Riviera Touch movie poster

Once upon a time, movie posters were cheap and plentiful on eBay, with cult classics being available for £10 or less just about every day. But a few years on and most auctions are 'buy it now' and well into three figures. So this 1960s Morecambe and Wise That Riviera Touch movie poster is something of a rarity.

it's an original UK quad poster (30 x 40 inches), dating from 1966 and featuring that great cartoon graphic of (arguably) Britain's finest comedy double act. According to the seller, it's in 'mint' condition, with no marks or rips and just as importantly, no fading.

Right now, bidding is at £40.
