Frandsen Ball 1960s wall lights

Ball

We featured the reissue of the pendant lights some time back, but now the Frandsen Ball is back as a wall light.

It's a simple and stylish Danish design that dates back to 1969, the wall version offering up that metallic dome in a chrome or a coloured finish, with a transparent cord that also includes the on/off switch.

There's an almost endless number of colour options if you shop around, all selling for around the £53 mark.

eBay watch: Dijkstra 1970s double arc wall lamp

Double

A fine piece of 1970s design, but without the collector's price tag – this Dijkstra double arc wall lamp.

Not really a high-end brand, but certainly an eye-catching piece with two shades hanging at different heights from those curved stems, both hanging from the wall, complete with light switch.

How much for this minor gem? Right now just 1 pence, plus postage from Holland.

eBay watch: Krups modernist-style wall clock

Krups

It dates from the 1970s according to the seller, but this Krups wall clock could certainly pass for an item from the modernist era.

Battery powered, it's sized around 18.5cm square, with that dark outer cover hosting a glass dome, which in turn protects the white plastic clock face. That face has those very functional numbers, with dark contrast hands offering up the time. The maker's name and country is also present on the face.

The German-made clock is sold in 'good condition' and 'fully working order', with a price cheap enough to tempt us all in. Right now it's just 99 pence.

eBay watch: 1970s eyeball-style ceiling light and wall lights

Orange1

If the colour doesn't convince you, the design is almost certainly a giveaway of the origins of this 1970s eyeball-style ceiling light and wall lights.

Yes, that's right, not just the light above, some wall lights thrown it too. But let's look at the main fitting first. That being a distinctive thing with chrome ceiling rose, orange 'stem' and three eyeball-style spotlights for targeting light around the room.

Blik Eames Circles wall decals

Blikeamescircles[1]

Charles and Ray Eames produced many iconic designs but they were never known for their wall stickers. Blik have made the most of this gap in the Eames' output and have produced, in association with the Eames office, these Circles wall decals

The design is based on the Eames' Circle fabric which can be seen on the cushion in the image and is made up of imperfectly shaped, illustration-like circles which are treated in various ways, such as being divided into quarters or filled with other concentric circles. The decals come in a range of four colours (snow, midnight, tomato or graphite) and two different sizes of circles at either 15cm or 38.1cm across. It's then up to you how you place them on your wall to create your own mid-century masterpiece.

They're priced at either £35 for a pack of 16 small circles or £45 for 10 large circles.

Retro rocket wallsticker

Rocket sticker

Want a look for a kid's room that's out of this world? Try this retro rocket wallsticker

The design, which is made by a company called e-glue, is straight out of the golden days of space exploration. The sticker comes in several colours: you can pick from various shades of blue, grey or chocolate. It certainly isn't a decorating look for the timid as the smaller version measures a massive 50 x 110cm! The larger version is roughly double that.

A small sticker costs £95 with the large costing £145.
