Space_chopping

Some kitchen cool with a nod to video games past – the Space Invaders chopping board.

Liquorice Allsorts House

101041

Bassetts Liquorice Allsorts have been around since 1899 and are fondly remembered from many a childhood. In these days of worries about healthy eating and overweight children, here is a healthier way to introduce the sweets to a new generation – the Liquorice Allsorts House.

The set contains 25 individual soft pieces that look just like the sweets for children to use to build a house. Of course, the pieces aren’t made from sugary treats, but from foamed filled soft touch vinyl.

At just under £500, it costs considerably more than a quarter of your favourite sweets, but will last longer. It is available to buy from the Urchins website.

Pin Art – the 1980s office toy returns

Pinart

How did anyone waste time at work before the internet? Simple – office toys – and Pin Art was certainly one of the more memorable.

What is it? Well, thousands of blunt pins in a case, which you can push objects into – or your own body parts, should you so wish – to create 3D images.

Ok, it’s not got as much depth as Retro To Go, but it might make an interesting diversion for £13.99.
