Dance your cares away with the Fraggle Rock dolls

Fraggles

It seems like 80s nostalgia is in right now – and following on from yesterday’s Little A-Team we have more childhood memories – the Fraggle Rock dolls.

Yes, Jim Henson’s cave-dwellers are back – in doll form anyway. You can pick up Gobo, Red or Wembley, each standing at 35cm tall, all fully-clothed and with suitably manic hair, legs and tails.

No lighthouse keeper, you’ll have to play that role yourself. Each dolls retails for £14.95.

Fisher Price Chatter Telephone – still going strong after 46 years

Chatter
Some toys barely last a year, others might last a little longer, but few have the staying power of the Fisher Price Chatter Telephone.

First introduced in 1961, this surreal telephone does everything a small child wants  – it moves, makes a noise as it is pulled along (not to mention wobbling its eyes) and rings as the numbers are dialled.

Buy it for your kids, then put it away for your grandchildren – because it’s likely to be still entertaining the little ‘uns in another 40 years. It retails for £14.99.

Monopoly piece keyrings

Monopoly

Monopoly has been around since the 1930s, which probably makes the pieces design classics of sorts. And you can take them with you with these Monopoly piece keyrings.

You can choose from the top hat, dog, car and boot, made of (I presume) stainless steel and with the loop to attach your keys easily.

Available online, you can pick any of the designs up for £7.50 each.
