Möve Pucci Beach Towel

Move_floralbt450

Sadly, I don’t have £70 to spend on a beach towel, but if I did the Möve Pucci Floral Beach Towel is the one I would buy.

As you would expect from a Pucci print, the design involves swirling shapes and flowers, creating a psychedelic pattern. Perfect for taking on a retro retreat to Palm Springs!

The towel measures 100cm by 180cm, is made from 100% cotton/velours and as already mentioned, costs £70. It is available to buy from Dot Maison.

Airstream Bambi 422 – cool retro caravan

Bambi422

The words 'caravan' and 'cool' used in the same sentence? We can only be talking about an Airstream trailer, specifically the Airstream Bambi 422, complete with that authentic steel and aluminium finish.

Perfect for a spot of country touring this summer, the two-berth Bambi 422 is based on the look of an original early 60s Airstream, but with a more compact size and all the modern facilities to hand – check out the gallery on the site for a look at the kitchen, bathroom and living spaces, which include air conditioning, an audio set-up, TV and a set of kitchen appliances every bit as good as the ones in your static home.

Obviously, this kind of mobile luxury is going to come at a price – and that price is around £35,000. Still, we can dream.

Looking to brighten up your life with some old school Hollywood-style glamour? Well, book yourself into this William Cody-designed mid-century house in Palm Springs. California, USA.

Built in 1964 for inventor/industrialist Stanley Goldberg, the house sits high in the San Jacinto Hills, part of a small gated community and sat next to a pair of mid-century gems by John Lautner.
