The Gibson Les Paul is one of the most recognisable guitars in the world. A design collaboration between Gibson Guitar and accomplished jazz guitarist Les Paul, it was a very successful response to Fender’s Telecaster, which had previously taken the guitaring world by storm.
The finished product hit the shelves in 1952, with several slight re-designs keeping it ahead of the game ever since. And now there’s Gibson Les Pauls for girls.
Two models are available, the Les Paul Vixen and our favourite, the Les Paul Goddess. The Goddess is everything that made the original so successful, but with a reduced body size, slim taper and packed into a special lightweight mahogany body.
It’s available in Violet Burst , Sky Burst , Ice Burst , Rose Burst or Ebony, with a recommended price of just under £2,000.
