I never thought I would ever feature Kickers on here – a label that has gone so down market that it’s now firmly in the bargain bin. But it is a label with a heritage – and one being used in the Oki-Ni’s Legend Hi 1970 Kickers boot.
As the name suggests, the Oki-Ni boot is based on the first-ever produced by Kickers in 1970 – the Legend. The boot has traditional Kickers detailing and like the original, is constructed from natural washable nubuck leather with a crepe sole – and with the "lavable a l’eau et en savon" (washable with soap and water) tag. The Oki-Ni amendment adds the label’s signature on the heel, tag and laces.
Each boot also comes with its own "wash bag" to create your own look, a nubuck brush to restore the nap of the leather once dried, a Reissues & Rarities book and authentic packaging.
Available in a range of colours, they retail for around £115.
Great for hiking and the price is affordable! Will they be available outside of the UK?
