Although it’s easy to assume that Camper is a product of the modern age, the company actually started out in Majorca in 1975 – and the first shoe the company produced 32 years ago is now back in production.
That shoe is the Camper Camaleon, a very basic casual shoe that was inspired by the footwear commonly worn in rural Majorca. It’s a white fabric lace-up with a rubber sole and very little detailing, except for the small tag on the side.
If you’re planning a stroll round rural Spain this summer, you can pick up a pair for £55.
