Looking for an authentic 1960s rug? You might want to take a look at the Emilio Pucci Giardino rug.
It uses a print first seen in 1968, an era which saw Pucci rugs described as "floor paintings in wool" and sold in limited editions – if you wanted an original now, you would have to try your luck in one of the leading auction houses.
This reissue is also limited – in this case, just 15 pieces – each handmade and made in France from 100 per cent wool and in nine colours. Price is dictated by size, but starts at £4,200.
