The name Baracuta is pretty much the first name to think of when it comes to the classic Harrington jacket, but it seems have started a spot of diversification, introducing new lines like Baracuta polo shirts.
And they’re pretty much what you expect, a three-button polo with contrasting collar trim and made from 100 per cent cotton. And there’s the Baracuta logo on the chest.
I have to be honest and say they look a little bland to me, but they’re sure to be decent quality and retail for a reasonable £40, which is in line with the average Fred Perry.
Ive seen one of these being worn and i must say they are very good quality and a refreshing change to look at.
The collar sits well and shaping is slim but accomodating enough to hold any ‘excess baggage’ one might have. The logo is noticeable enough to engage you but not so ostentacious (sp?) that your’e caught staring!
All in all id say its an understated elegance that were used to from Baracuta and I for one will be in the shop ordering mine post haste!
