Second only to Pucci in producing fabrics synonymous with the 1960s is fashion house Missoni. They gained fame with their colourful patterns and stripes on a wide range of fabrics and for some time now these designs have been used in homewares as well as clothes. The Mademoiselle Missoni Chair by Kartell brings together the distinctive fabric of fashion label and the furniture design of Philippe Starck.
The Mademoiselle chair features transparent legs combined with a seat upholstered in a choice of fabrics. The Mademoiselle is a pretty special chair anyway, but combined with the retro chic of Missoni, it is even better.
They are available from Design Conscious priced £373 per chair, which isn’t a bad price for the work of two top names in design.
