Pierre Paulin’s Ribbon Chair is a truly iconic piece of furniture. First created by the French designer in 1966, it won the Chicago Design Award in 1968 and was featured in the 1975 film “Space 1999”.
With its sculptured form, the ribbon chair could almost be a work of art, but this isn’t at the expensive of comfort or durability, as these chairs were designed to last a lifetime. A good thing too as they will set you back in the region of £2600.
Atomic Interiors of Nottingham stocks Ribbon Chairs by original manufacturer, Artifort – price on application.
